Mumbai Marine Drive
Marine drive is one of the major attractions of Mumbai, a metropolitan city in the Indian State Maharashtra. It is located in South Mumbai is the ideal place for enjoyment. It takes the shape of the English alphabet “C” and it is a concrete road lies by the side of the natural bay, which is a part of the Arabian Sea. It connects Nariman Point and Malabar hills. It is a three kilometer long road that comprises six lanes running along the sea coast. Marine Drive is officially called Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road. It was initially known as Sonapur to local Maharashtrains. The most inspiring feature of Marine drive is the gorgeous promenade (a large, open area, next to Sea) along the road. People enjoy viewing the awe-inspiring sunsets daily from here. It is a perfect place for relaxation too. It is lined with palm trees and it presents a scenic view to take a stroll. It is famous for its mouth watering local foods like Bhel puri and Pani Puri.
 
Marine Drive looks exquisite at night. If you see from an elevated point, it looks like a beautiful necklace and the street lights resemble a string of gems. Therefore, it is also known as Queen’s necklace. You can enjoy the panoramic views of the Sea from this road. It is located in the wealthy neighborhood of Mumbai and it boasts of many hotels and homes of celebrities. You can see a row of art deco buildings built by rich Parsis in 1920s. Marine drive is a busy road in Mumbai and it hosts various important events.
